The first regular patch since Funfair Tycoon NEXT went live is here! As well as many other improvements to the new version, there’s also some new content this time round.
🆕🎠 New attraction: Children’s sports carousel, 6.5 m

🍕 3D Rework: Paninis
The stall has been redesigned from 2D to 3D and, at the same time, has been expanded to include two further variants: ‘Paninis Palazzo’ and ‘Paninis Piccolo Forno’.
🚛 3D Rework: Trucks KT Laudario und KT Opus
The first two vehicles featuring the new 3D graphics are now in the game! Both vehicles were, of course, available before, but they’ve now been given a new look and come in additional variants
- KT Laudario: Level 4 (with crane body) – available in the colours Cinis, Ignis, Silva
- KT Opus: Level 5 (semi-trailer) – available in the colours Albus, Caelum, Ferrum
🚀 Funfair Tycoon NEXT
The following improvements are now available to players using Funfair Tycoon NEXT (some content in the app will only become available after an update):
- Improvements to the staff overview, job requests and all lists where staff can be selected
- Layout can be switched between tile view, full list and compact list
- Sorting by availability, name, mood, motivation and experience
- Level indicator is now easier to read
- Improvements to the shift schedule
- Button layout has been tidied up
- Loading times improved
- Selecting the day: the day of the week is now displayed next to the date
- (experimental) Current values are displayed next to staff members
- Shift creation:
- Simpler operation for setting shift duration
- Larger increments; fine-tuning possible via + and – buttons
- Simple selection possible with suggested times
- Simpler operation for setting shift duration
- Employee tasks improvements
- Manual task assignment now revised
- Layout of the training feature revised
- Community features
- Dashboard: Many of you requested that forum posts and part of the friends’ feed be brought back to the dashboard; this is now available again
- Settings: ‘Community on the home page’ can be disabled
- Counter: New posts in the friends’ feed are now displayed with a red counter, similar to that used for regional associations

- New ‘Friends’ tab (friends list + player search)

- In the top section of the screen, you can now click on any area (Transport, Vehicle, Staff) to open the respective selection
- Schedule
- Revised layout for mobile / app (map is no longer sticky)
- New: You can now switch between all appointments and “My Applications” (the latter only shows appointments you’ve applied for. Filtering by individual companies is still possible)
- Clear distinction between filters (menu) and sorting (now above the list)
- Improved filter labels
- New filter: Start date (earliest) + end date (latest) (in combination with sorting by distance, this is now very helpful; the date range can now be narrowed down)
- Bug fixes in NEXT
- Transports were not updating in the vehicle overview when they were uncoupled (they still appeared to be coupled)
- The in-game timers appeared to be broken in the app when the system settings for text size were changed in Android
- Market view: The speeds for vehicles with and without a trailer were swapped
- Regional associations: The notification indicator stopped working for numbers with two or more digits
- Tour plan: The number of days between two events was calculated incorrectly
- Dashboard: ‘Pay operating costs’ was displayed as a task even though the event had not yet ended (for opening hours extending past midnight)
- App: The classic emojis were not displayed correctly
- Calendar: Issues with the filters (entering a single date)
🪲 Bugfixes
- Wear and tear: for some time now, we’ve had a bug where some attractions were accumulating wear and tear too quickly, whilst others were sometimes unable to accumulate any at all. The calculation has been completely overhauled
- Associations: When proposing a new event, umlauts in the discussion title were displayed incorrectly
